The school is headed by Charalambos Constantinou (5th Dan), member of the Bujinkan. The Bujinkan is an international martial arts organization based in Japan and headed by Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. It is best known for its association with Ninjutsu. The system taught by this organization, called Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, consists of nine separate Ryu-ha (martial arts lineages):
These martial arts lineages used by the Ninja and Samurai warriors specialize in self-defense, defense against multiple attackers (with or without weapons), grappling, throws, ground fighting, street fighting, weaponry, vital and nerve point advanced striking, dislocations, chokes, unconventional warfare, strategy, espionage, survival tactics, water training, and a lot more.
Bujinkan Budō Taijutsu practice doesn’t include participation in competitions or contests, as the school’s training aims to develop the skills to protect ones self and others through the use of techniques which often focus on the disabling (breaking) of the attacker’s limbs and which can also potentially cause their death.
